The ostrich and chicken finally caught this movie at causeway point, the one which Jerard said ‘DAMN BLOODY NICE’. If u interpreted it word by word, makes no sense. Need to add bloody meh? Haha

This movie, in summary was set in Ad 208, last year of Han Dynasty where the country was split up. Chicken, aka me with my tremendous experience in this era as i played the game before and read the Romance of the Three Kingdom (RTK) novel online. The show was pretty original, except that…

*Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and Zhao Yun should be better fighters.
*Cao Cao did not fight the Red Cliffs for the sake of Xiao Qiao.
*Zhao Yun supposed to be more handsome and smarter than Guan Yu.
*Ma Chao & Huang Zhong – part of Liu Bei’s 5 Tiger Generals is missing from the movie, i don’t think they would appear in part 2 at all.
*If you guys define the 3 warriors as your SUPER HEROES after this movie, take note of another guy call Lu Bu who fought against Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and Liu Bei alone.
*They made Lu Su looks like a joke – being acupuncture by his princess and fall off the horse. His intelligence is actually highly comparable with Zhou Yu.
*Sun Quan is a good ruler in the story also, but movie made him seems like a nerd…

Cao Cao – transformation of resemblances of individual character.

The show itself was good, quite interesting, John Woo injected sense of humour into this serious history. However some scenes were draggy and the focus was not correct. The only battle should have ended faster, need so long to kill 3000+ soldiers meh? A bit time consuming, flooded with similar killing scenes . I think the killing scenes suited ostrich most! She’s going to turn violent soon…. Ostrich played RTK game when she was young too! (so it it our childhood game, haha!) I forgotten what i read through and how the part 2 going to be filmed, but I do know the final results of the war and the tactics Zhou Yu & Kong Ming going to use. I would recommend for people who DID not play the game and do NOT have intense knowledge of RTK to watch it. It is like attending a Chinese history lesson in the cinema with lots of visuals & actions instead of those thick dusty books in the library
