9 Feb 2009 – that’s the birth date of my ham ham. he grew up & grew longer alr, he is able to stretch himself and escaped from his “bungalow” two times within this week. i don’t feel very happy counting down to his birthday (hamsters got a very short life span, probably 2-3years?), older by 1 year = 1 year less to live. 
(updated: i used my bro’s dslr camera to capture pics of my ham ham! he brought the camera for $299, good deal isn’t it?)

it’s been a long time since i update this blog, felt like lazing around. 
let me recall what we did over the weekends.
last fri, i went bugis to buy shoes with my mum, mission accomplished!:x in the evening, bee & i went to newyork newyork to meet his frenz, think we are all waiting for CNY so that we can play blackjack again! after that we went to ms clarity for some desserts, their mud oosh is really chocolaty, i would love to have it again. haha.
then sat we went to play mahjong at alex hse, haha, we lost again, we really no mahjong luck, we on losing streak since last jun? jul? omg, i tink we’ve been cursed. hahaha.
sun, we went to cut hair, nicole is really busy. we waited quite a while before it’s our turn, my fringe is now back to bangs again. heh. my mum say i look like “ah dai” (oh whatever) hahaha. after that we had crabs with his family, bee is now a professional crab eater. haha.
That’s about it for our weekend, weekday is back to school for me & work for him. i’m feeling bored, but mock exam will be coming soon again. *yawns* mr tang, faster upload pics, so i could blog some pics. hee.
on a lighter note, we will not be in sg this weekend + i am waiting for my fancl stuff from jp + i shall get another pair of shoes + i shall design my wall + meeting up my gfs at chinatown + cny + vdae! “And Feb gonna be a good month, and Feb shall be a good good month….”

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…..
Huey went to Sweden & my cousin went to Finland for exchange programme. Ystd Huey on her webcam & showed me the snow outside her hostel (i took snapshots but i don’t know how to locate the pictures, that’s y i am unable to upload pictures of snow from Sweden ) That silly girl gave me a quick tour around her room, hahaha! we miss you!!!! I think she miss her family & her teddy bear even more. ho ho ho.
However, i got the pictures from my cousin side!! The snowy trees resemble of the scene from Narnia, hahaha.

shiok sia!!!! brrrrrr… i feel so cold. it’s so exciting to experience snow in foreign countries, i wish i could travel too!

I’m gonna upload a lot of pics we took from new year countdown & huey 21st. initially, we wanted to head down to mac area to countdown, but due to time constraint, we decided to camp near the beach where the crowd was. However, we only manage to catch a glimpse of the fireworks from marina bay, but nobody counted down to “3,2,1, happy new year!!!!” heh. the sky above the sea was quite pretty as well, it was filled with tiny red “flowers” floating down to the sea.

It’s zj’s 21st! we had dim sum @ wah lok, carlton hotel & tea and pastries @ TWG, ion. it’s been quite some time since we last met up, it reminds me of the good old’ time, too bad valentia can’t join us this time round.

Recap 2009

Yes, this will be a recap of 2009, of all the movie that i watched in 2009. The good, the bad and the sleepy….
Tropic Thunder: One good movie, never expected it to be so good until we saw it. It was quite hilarious and lame to say the least. Kept us laughing for quite a while even after the show…verdict: good
Night at the museum 2: Another comedy, pretty funny. Many original jokes. Poked fun at many hollywood films. Not a critic’s fav but it ranks pretty well with me. Worth a 2nd watch as i believe the jokes will make me laugh again. The darth vader and seasme street part was pretty funny… verdict: v good
Twilight: The New Moon: waste of money. damn irritating movie. slow and draggy. Director tried too hard to make us impressed at every sentence, thus it became draggy and dull. The whole show is about a slut who’s torn between 2 guys. Fighting scenes are v limited. Would advice you to watch if you got difficulty in falling asleep. Verdict: extremely waste of money
Transformers: Revenge of the fallen. This movie really kills off all my interest in the transformer franchise. The first movie was unexpectedly great, the 2nd was a goner. Confusing storylines,chars. Let us down with our expectations
The curious case of benjamin buttons: Excellent movie, though long but every single part of the movie is essential to creating the whole feeling. This movie was adapted from a story book, however the end product was even better than it. Original story line, made me tear SLIGHTLY, touching story. I must say it was one of the better few emotional movie which you could ever find. Verdict: extremely good
GI JOE: not a bad movie, but not a good movie. Many explosions, your ticket price goes towards it. So no grumbles
Slumdog millionaire; very original movie, but i prefer benjamin buttons over it anytime. Don’t undersand how it could win so many awards. verdict: overhyped
Avatar: another excellent movie, the graphics, storyline and technology used is totally awesome. Guess great movies don’t come often. And hopefully James Cameroon can make another movie as great as this is. Verdict: ZAI
Batman; The Dark Knight: This is another great movie, got me totally into the story. Heath Ledger was so great as the joker that i pity Batman. Batman seems so helpless in this movie, no wonder many ppl said this movie is very dark. Super enjoyable. I don’t mind watching a few more times. Verdict: GREAT
A Christmas Carol: Animated movie, seems to be boring but it’s not. Got us into the christmas feel. Quite not bad, worth a watch
Guess that’s about all the movies we caught in 2009. I can’t recall any more. Let’s hope there will be more good movies in 2010. YEY

Happy 2010 to all!
Hope you guys have a great new year. I had a great new year with my lovelies, but I am too lethargic to update all the photos now. I need to recharge my energy bar before school starts on monday.
Reflection for 2009:
I attended lots of 21st birthday in 09. I am glad that the “ah bu” family took a family photo together after so long, hope that we would still be able to meet up at least once a year! J (shall we do a xmas meet up in 2010?)
I started school in August, I told myself to study hard at the beginning, but somehow along the way, I started to slack. (Oh no!) I need to buck up in 2010 as my exams are approaching soon! Let’s jia you ba.
My mum went to bkk with us (I met my beloved there as well!) and it’s her first time traveling there. She loves the grill prawns & pork too. (Unfortunately, my bro was unable to join us due to some incident.) I shall teach up how to surf tudou & watch drama in 2010.
Speaking of my bro, I think his attitudes & actions had become more ridiculous & out of control. Everybody have their freedom to make friends, but there are so different type of people, there are people who make use of you, people who back stab you & people who are of bad influence. I wonder when he will wake up his mind. I hope that in 2010, he will stop smoking & start to plan for his own future. Start being a thinker and start reflecting on your own actions.
I adopted a cute little hamster, he seem to bring joy to my family because he has 101 “patterns” to entertain us. He went missing twice, he sleep as if he was dead, he will make a lot of noise in the middle of the night and he likes to stand up and walk like a human. I hope he will be able to live longer, I will clean your tank more often.
My story with my bee bee continues wahaha. I think we quarrel lesser in 2009 compare to 2008, maybe we should quarrel more in 2010. (choy!!!) I’m glad that we stayed on together, we shall have a fun & enjoyable 2010 k? I will try to cook more meals and scold less vulgarity.
I need to exercise regularly, I remembered that I only went jogging & gym 4-5 times for the whole of 2009. I had a very very bad experience with food poisoning in 2009, I need to watch what I eat, more high calcium milk, yogurts & berries, less fried food and most importantly – sleep early!
I will read more often, be less ignorant, be more sensitive, be less quick-tempered, improve my english, learn to make my own ice cream, back up my computer more often, worry less about my skin condition and to keep my room neat every week ( however I have not finish decorating my room). Hee.
